C.R is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, Hip-hop/alternative music artist. Born in Hollywood and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Since early high school, he began his musical journey through the curiosity of making rock and hip-hop fusion remixes of different bands and artist through the use of a cracked version of virtual DJ that he had downloaded on LimeWire. After installing it and staying up until 4 in the morning the same night 8 full remixes he discovery the addictive and instinctual calling and obsession with music. After being in a band with high school friends for about 2 years on and off and not finishing any project or doing any shows he began to start learning how to produce whole songs on his own without any boundaries or disagreements. He started focusing on his writing, rapping and singing abilities for a few years with no clear direction. Eventually, he began to learn the audio engineering aspect and graduated from the Los Angeles Recording school with his associate’s science of Recording in the audio engineering program. After more than 10 years in the making, remaking, and developing his sound C.R just recently started officially releasing music 4 years ago. His first home-recorded free mixtape style project called “The Bootleg” was released in 2014 on SoundCloud The Bootleg was a freeform project with hardly and hooks and mostly freestyles mixed with written songs pieced together with a lot of a lot of beat switch ups on beats how found on YouTube. He then took a long time to lock himself in the studio specifically working on his lyrical abilities as an MC. He returned almost 2 years later with his first fully professional studio recorded project properly tilted “4 My Rap Addicts”. With the industry standard quality record studios and all the lyrical exploring and training he had taken himself through he brought a project they kept some of the free-form aspects of his first mixtape and style and turn it in a short but sweet focused 8 song Mixtape that was all about the bars,flows and representing the MixedBreed movement with a few fully structured verse/hook songs to start teasing the transition from lyrical underground mc to a focused, conceptual, lyrical song writer. He then began to focus on his first full studio project blending the lines between an E.P and a full-length album. This Is the project that started as a shorter E.P length project that was had a less aggressive, smoother, R&B, Love and heartbreak focused project called Luna. After a realization it didn’t make sense to release for such a laidback soft project in an aptemp to fully launch his music career he decided Instead of scrapping the project he would keep only the 3 or 4 best songs and began to transform it into a project that was focused and the bigger picture of not only his musicial growth but his purpose, spiritually , and mission to help change the world. The project went from the focus of the female energy and Love songs to the conceptual, hard-hitting, dark, alternative infused,rollercoaster ride that has become “Full Moon in the 818”. So far C.R has released 3 if the single off of the 11 song album. After a few date changes due to meticulous song removing adding and replacing the project is scheduled to drop in early January.
