Story & Blue is an indie pop duo comprised of songwriters Tova Litvin and Tyler Shamy. Tova and Tyler originally met on the LA writing scene at a terrible networking party at the legendary Hotel Cafe, but somehow became good friends and collaborators anyway. After working together on several projects, the two realized they shared a mutual love of offbeat lyrics, Middle Eastern riffs, violins and an inappropriate sense of humor. Soon after, Story & Blue was born. The duo’s mutual credits include include songs written for Marvel and Disney’s The Descendants 2, a number one spot on USA iTunes, and two #1 records and several top 10s in Japan. They’ve had songs placed in over 150 shows/films/commercials, and have been contracted directly by Maybelline, Barbie, Nickelodeon and Disney.
