Chromatic Creations LLC. is a Multimedia production company based in New York City. The group currently consists of CEO/Vocalist/Producer Sōl, Vocalist Taj & Producer Truman. Daybreak is Chromatic’s first single and is currently available on every streaming platform. Daybreak is a classic summer hip-hop song consisting of bright and energetic production along with fast pace and lyrical vocals.
The song consists of two 18 year old vocalists, Taj & Sōl (In order of appearance). The first verse consists of fun lyricism with references to the label’s New York City roots and relentless workflow. Taj’s flow is creative and different from most modern-day rap through his drastic changes in tone and speed. The hook of the song is performed by Sōl and explores his sleepless nights and ways to pass the time. The second verse is also performed by Sōl and dives deep into his interpretation of the modern day music industry, from the way he considers himself more marketable than other rap “egos” to the continuous false “help” that other labels promise independent artists. Sōl truly shows off his flow on this track as he breaks down his flow to an astonishing speed. The production of this song is extremely tight and bouncy while avoiding intense complication producers Truman & Sōl really found a sweet spot with this beat. Overall this track is a fun and happy hip-hop song just in time for summer.
