Tha Shadoz is a rising rap duo made up of two brothers, Uriyah and Uziyah from Baltimore, Maryland. They are six time Grammy Award ballot nominees due to the critical success they earned in 2013 and 2014 for their songs “Too Good to Be True” which featured Dru Hill’s Woody Rock, “Believe That,” ”Truth Gone Rise” featuring Lor Dollaz, and “Gotta Get em Back.”
In their youth, Tha Shadoz became students of the greats, listening to and studying everyone from Michael Jackson to hip-hop legends like KRS One, 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G. and many more. Now they take what they’ve learned from these legends and draw from their own extraordinary life experiences to pioneer their very own genre of music they call Truth Music. The Shadoz’s particular brand of hip-hop is marked by a unique and raw sound designed to motivate, challenge and otherwise elicit powerful responses from their audiences. Without question, these guys have tapped into something special and are on their way to stepping out of the shadows and into the spotlight.
