GI, also known as “God’s Image”, consists of three anointed and appointed young gentlemen – Branden Anderson, Curtis Langley, and Lamonte Harris. Having been together for 13 years, the guys are not only group members, but also brothers.
It is a rare thing to find a group that has lasts over a decade. They are singers, dancers, actors, songwriters, producers, and musicians. The group owns, and operates it’s record label BGA MUSIC GROUP.
In 2009 they released their national debut album “GOD’S IMAGE” which peaked at number 18 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album Charts. Their hit single “Get Up” remained on the Top 30 Billboard Gospel Songs Chart for most of the year! Their video reached the No. 1 position on Gospel Music Channel! Their urban hit single “Temptation” garnered crossover success on Urban Radio Formats.
Their new album “The Next Dimension” was released July 19, 2011 and peaked at #15 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Charts! The first single from the album “Forever We Will Worship” debuted at #34 on Billboard’s Gospel Songs Charts and remained in the top 30 for several weeks (peaking at 24). Recent appearances include BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel, the Radio One Lamp Lighter Awards and Tim Reid’s Celebrity Gospel Concert. Their second single “There’s Only One Name” is sure to become a classic anthem in the gospel community and beyond.
