Soulful alternative singer/songwriter Devin Michael draws the ear of the listener. A naturally gifted and self taught singer, Devin infuses energy and art, the fabric of his character and expression. Inspired by love, life, the cosmos, and the world around him, Devin emanates a unique sound.
Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Devin began directing and teaching musical aggregations at the age of twelve and developed a precise musical ability. He was later asked to conduct a two hundred plus choir to prepare them for their weekly performances. Determined to further hone his musical skill, Devin was a student to his community church and theater.
After surviving the national tragedy, Hurricane Katrina, Devin was one of few vocalist selected to record the song of hope “Heart of America” and rally to campaign for Habitat for Humanity.
Devin Michael has recorded for and shared the stage with Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper, Michael McDonald, Wynonna Judd, Eric Benet, Jordin Sparks, The Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears, John Mayer, Timbaland, Brandy, Justin Bieber, Guy Sebastian, Sam Moore, Kirk Franklin and The Roots, to name a few.
Devin has performed on major national television shows such as CNN, THE TODAY SHOW, LIVE WITH REGIS & KELLY, WENDY WILLIAMS, JIMMY FALLON and GOOD MORNING AMERICA. He has toured with The Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears, Jordin Sparks and Justin Bieber.
